Researching Early Quakers in Upper Canada

Members of the Society of Friends or Quakers arrived in Upper Canada before 1800 from New York, Vermont, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and settled in Prince Edward County, the Niagara area and the Toronto area. They left a rich record in their minute books, registers and other ephemera for both the genealogist and social historian.
