Quinte Branch Online Finding Aid “Update”

To celebrate our 40th anniversary as a branch of Ontario Ancestors/OGS the Quinte Branch “Online Finding Aid” is getting an update. The number of records will increase to over 1,516,000 thanks to the efforts of our volunteer indexers. That’s an increase of over 166,000 records available for you to search online.

Volunteers Needed

The Quinte Branch of Ontario Ancestors/OGS needs volunteers … badly. This does not have to be a grand commitment of time or labour. Mentorship is available and “there are no tests”. Several positions exist on the Branch Council which meets once a month and in support roles like transcribing, proof-reading and maintaining the research library.
