“Heroes of Battoche”, a new volume added to the Dr. Brearley Collection on the Quinte Branch website, presents historical sketches of the men from the greater Quinte area who joined the Midland Battalion to assist in the supression of the Riel Rebellion at the Battle of Battoche.
