Betty Bruce, her husband Lorne, and their son Roy, along with his wife Ruth, were all part of the founding members of the Quinte Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society. We thank them for their dedication to Quinte Branch.
This collection of clippings was saved by Betty Bruce and her son Roy. The donation of envelopes to the Quinte Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society resulted in envelopes sitting on shelves for several years with periodic review by volunteers and researchers. The items were starting to get damaged from handling and it was time for Quinte Branch to take on the project of sorting, numbering sheets, scanning, and indexing the 665 pages. This project took over 2 years with volunteers Lynn Heale and Larry McQuoid moving it forward to completion.
This collection is listed for sale on the OGS Quinte Branch Marketplace however we are offering it as a free download for the month of June from our Branch website. The collection has an alphabetical index at the beginning to help researchers.
