Bob Dawes: A Loss Beyond Measure

For the second time in just over a month, another pillar of the Quinte Branch operation has been torn away. On January 7, 2023, Bob Dawes passed away. Bob was extremely active in the Quinte Branch and in the greater genealogy community. Bob held several executive offices, including Chair, and anchored the IT and database operations for the Quinte Branch. He is arguably the most professional speaker on the genealogy circuit. Bob’s untimely passing has left a rupture in the fabric of the Quinte Branch that cannot be repaired. Rest in Peace, Bob.
