The Quinte Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society lost a staunch supporter, long-time volunteer and true friend with the passing of Larry McQuoid on May 16, 2019. In addition to his community involvement, Larry served the Branch as editor of the “Searchlight”, Treasurer, dedicated volunteer and, recently, as a researcher in the Branch Research Library.
